Privacy policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Who we are
Stickin is an online label-ordering service provided by Printori Inc. In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Printori Inc.
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit a website displaying this policy, request a quote, place an order, submit artwork, contact us or interact with our communications and advertising. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual, including an individual acting on behalf of a business.
Printori Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control. Our Privacy Officer oversees privacy inquiries and complaints and can be contacted at hello@stickin.co. Where applicable data protection law uses the term “controller,” Printori Inc. is the controller for the processing described in this policy, except where another provider is independently responsible as explained below.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on your interactions with us and may include:
- Contact and business information: your name, business name, role, email address, telephone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
- Account information, where accounts are offered: account identifiers, saved preferences, authorized contacts and information needed to operate and secure your account.
- Order and transaction information: products, specifications, quantities, pricing, currency, order history, delivery instructions, payment status, transaction references and information relating to an order inquiry, refund or payment dispute.
- Artwork and production information: uploaded files, images, filenames, file metadata, design instructions, proof versions, approval records and related correspondence. These materials may contain personal information supplied by you or your business.
- Communications and preferences: inquiries, support messages, feedback, reviews, marketing subscriptions, consent records and requests to unsubscribe or exercise privacy rights.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, approximate location, cookie or similar identifiers, referring pages, products viewed, cart activity and interactions with our website, emails and advertising.
- Preferences inferred from activity: product interests and shopping preferences inferred from the interactions described above, where permitted, to improve relevance and measure marketing performance.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through our website and related technologies, and from Shopify and providers supporting payments, delivery, communications, analytics and advertising. An authorized business representative may also provide information needed to administer an order.
Payments are processed through the providers available at checkout. We receive transaction information needed to administer your purchase. Do not send payment-card credentials, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information through artwork uploads or ordinary support messages.
3. How we use information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide the service: respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and payments, prepare proofs, record approvals, arrange production and delivery, and support requested reorders.
- Support customers: communicate about artwork, orders, delivery and service issues, and investigate quality concerns or disputes.
- Operate and protect the store: maintain carts and preferences, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and misuse, protect accounts and transactions, and maintain business records.
- Improve our service: understand shopping activity, assess website performance and identify improvements to products, content and the ordering experience.
- Communicate and advertise: deliver permitted marketing, personalize relevant offers, measure campaign results and respect subscription and privacy choices.
- Meet legal obligations: maintain required records, respond to lawful requests and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We collect and use information for purposes appropriate to the circumstances. Where consent is required, we obtain it. Optional marketing consent is separate from information needed to complete your order; merely visiting the website, uploading artwork or accepting order terms does not provide consent to every use described in this policy.
Where European or UK data protection law applies, our legal bases are taking steps at your request or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, consent where required, and legitimate interests such as administering business relationships, improving the service and preventing fraud, where those interests are not overridden by your rights. You may contact us about the basis for a particular use.
4. Your artwork and proof records
We process artwork and related instructions to check files, prepare proofs, produce the products you request, resolve order questions and support requested reorders. Where automated file checks are used, they may examine characteristics such as page count, dimensions and image resolution for those purposes. A file check does not replace the proof-approval process.
Submitting artwork does not transfer ownership of it to us. Information and files may be provided to parties assisting with your order as described below. This does not authorize them to use your artwork for unrelated advertising.
We seek separate permission before using privately submitted customer artwork, names or photographs as promotional examples. If you intentionally submit a public review, the information you choose to publish may be visible to others.
Only provide information and files that you are authorized to submit and that are needed for your order. Keep your original files and protect order and artwork links against unintended sharing. Artwork storage is not an archival service.
5. When we disclose information
We disclose relevant information for the purposes described in this policy to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers supporting our operations: parties assisting with hosting, file storage, payment processing, artwork preparation, proofing, production, quality control, order fulfillment, delivery, customer support and communications. The information provided is limited to what is needed for their role.
- Analytics and advertising providers: parties receiving device identifiers, browsing activity, purchase-related information and, where permitted, limited contact information for measurement, audience matching, personalization or advertising. These uses are subject to the choices explained below.
- Authorized business contacts: people authorized to administer an order or account on behalf of the purchasing business.
- Professional advisers and lawful recipients: advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, authorities or other recipients where reasonably necessary and legally permitted to meet legal obligations, investigate fraud, protect rights or resolve disputes.
- Parties to a genuine business transaction: where necessary and permitted in connection with financing, restructuring, a merger or a transfer of a business or its assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality, use restrictions and any required notice or consent.
When a provider processes personal information on our behalf, we remain responsible for our applicable privacy obligations and require protections appropriate to its role and the information involved. Certain providers also process information independently under their own privacy notices, including as described in the Shopify section below.
The disclosures described here do not authorize another business to use your SMS consent for its own marketing.
6. Cookies, analytics and advertising choices
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary technologies support functions such as carts, sessions, security and privacy preferences. Depending on the services in use and your choices, optional technologies help us understand visits, measure campaigns and show relevant advertising on our website or other services.
Advertising may involve sharing identifiers, contact information in a matched or hashed form, browsing activity and purchase events with advertising providers. Hashing an identifier does not necessarily make it anonymous. Some laws classify advertising-related disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” even where no money changes hands.
Use Cookie preferences in the store footer, where available, to review or change cookie choices. Use Your privacy choices, where shown, for advertising and data-sharing controls. The Privacy requests link provides an email contact; it does not automatically change browser tracking settings. You can also submit a privacy or advertising opt-out request by email. We obtain consent before optional tracking where required and honor applicable opt-out rights, including legally recognized preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
Ordinary browser “Do Not Track” settings may not communicate the same choice as Global Privacy Control. Choices may apply to a particular browser or device; changing devices or clearing storage may require setting them again. Where required, we also apply choices to information associated with an identified customer.
Declining optional advertising does not prevent you from ordering. Browser settings can also restrict cookies, but blocking necessary technologies may affect store functions. Opting out of personalized advertising does not eliminate all advertising.
7. Shopify and other independent services
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit or purchase from our store to provide the platform and related services.
Where Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify uses information about your interactions with our store alongside information about your interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services, including personalization, analytics and advertising. Information submitted to our store may be shared with Shopify and relevant third parties in other countries to provide these services, subject to applicable privacy choices and legal requirements.
See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy for its practices and Shopify’s Privacy Portal to learn about and exercise applicable choices concerning Shopify’s processing. You may also use the store choices described above.
Separate payment wallets, social platforms and third-party websites you choose to use have their own privacy practices. Their notices apply to processing for which they are independently responsible. This does not remove our responsibilities for information under our control.
8. Email and text messages
We send promotional email or text messages only with the consent or other authorization required by the applicable law and messaging rules. Promotional messages may include offers, product updates and cart or reorder reminders. Providing contact details for an order does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. Where SMS marketing is offered, follow the message’s opt-out instructions, including replying STOP, or contact hello@stickin.co. We process withdrawals within the applicable legal period. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
If you separately subscribe to SMS marketing, messages may be recurring and sent using automated technology. Frequency varies, and message and data charges may apply. SMS enrollment terms and disclosures are provided when you sign up.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile subscription information or SMS opt-in records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Messaging providers and carriers may process the information needed to deliver and support our messages, and disclosures may be made where legally required.
Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent necessary order, proof, delivery, security or legal communications through an appropriate, permitted channel. Where you opt out of text messages, necessary service communications may be sent through another available channel.
9. International processing
We and our providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States and other countries where the relevant services operate, including outside your province or territory. Privacy laws may differ, and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other authorities under applicable local laws.
We remain accountable for information transferred to providers acting on our behalf. Where applicable law requires specific safeguards for an international transfer, the transfer is subject to those requirements. Contact our Privacy Officer for information about relevant processing locations and safeguards.
10. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal requirements. The period depends on the information, our relationship with you and the reason it is needed:
- Order, invoice and payment records are retained for fulfillment, accounting, tax and dispute-handling requirements.
- Artwork, proofs and approval records are retained for production, order support, reasonably anticipated reorders and related legal requirements.
- Marketing preferences and consent or suppression records are retained as needed to administer communications, demonstrate compliance and respect withdrawals.
- Technical and security information is retained for operation, diagnosis, measurement and protection of the service.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it as permitted by law. Legal holds and routine backup cycles may affect the timing of deletion. An order cancellation or marketing unsubscribe does not automatically erase records we must lawfully retain.
If your deletion request includes saved artwork or proofs, those files may no longer be available for future reorders. We may retain records needed to complete an existing order or meet legal requirements. Keep copies of any artwork you want to use again.
Our Privacy Officer oversees privacy matters, and personnel handling information are responsible for protecting it within their roles. We review privacy complaints, investigate the relevant facts and communicate our response and any appropriate corrective steps. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and circumstances. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. We respond to privacy incidents and provide required notices in accordance with applicable law.
Contact hello@stickin.co promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, order details or artwork links. Include relevant order information and a description of your concern, but do not send passwords, full payment-card details or other unrelated sensitive information.
11. Your rights and requests
Depending on your location and the law applicable to our processing, you may have rights to:
- Obtain information about our practices and access personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information, request deletion or receive a portable copy.
- Withdraw consent or object to or restrict certain processing.
- Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or qualifying profiling.
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information and appeal a decision about your request.
Send a request to hello@stickin.co with the subject “Privacy request.” Identify the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate method.
We may reasonably verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority where necessary. Advertising opt-out requests are not subject to unnecessary identity verification. We respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain any permitted extension or refusal, and provide information about available review rights. We do not charge a fee unless the law permits it and any required notice has been provided.
Certain exceptions apply, including information needed to complete a transaction, protect other people’s rights, comply with law or address legal claims. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing, and we will explain if it prevents us from providing a requested service. We do not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
To request review of our response, email hello@stickin.co with the subject “Privacy appeal.” You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another competent provincial, state or national privacy authority. You do not have to contact us first where the law permits a direct complaint.
12. Children, updates and contact
Our services are intended for business purchasers and adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information for marketing or knowingly sell or share it for targeted advertising. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change and revise the date above. We provide additional notice or obtain fresh consent when required. A policy update does not retroactively authorize an incompatible use of previously collected information.
